Personal introduction

Sara Ifqir received the M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Electrical Energy and Automatic Control, and the Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control with the European Doctorate label from the University of Paris-Saclay, France, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Her doctoral research focused on interval observers for switched dynamic systems and was nominated for the Best Thesis Award of the GdR MACS and Club EEA (2020).

From November 2019 to August 2021, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the IMS Laboratory (CNRS UMR 5218), University of Bordeaux, France, where she worked on the COCOTIER project in collaboration with Airbus, focusing on fault-tolerant multi-sensor data fusion for autonomous navigation in civil aviation.

Since September 2021, she has been an Associate Professor with Centrale Lille Institut and a member of the CRIStAL Laboratory (CNRS UMR 9189). Her research activities lie at the intersection of nonlinear, switched, and multi-agent systems, with a particular emphasis on robust control, set-membership estimation, and fault diagnosis for complex uncertain systems. Her work is especially oriented toward applications in autonomous and intelligent systems.
