I defended my Ph.D. in December 2015 under the supervision of Dr. Nicolas Bion and Dr. Fabien Can. During my doctoral research, I focused on the characterization of oxide and nitride materials (double-layer perovskite and yttria-stabilized zirconia, ternary cobalt and molybdenum nitrides) using isotope exchange technique followed by mass spectrometry and infrared (IR) spectroscopy for applications in heterogeneous catalysis (methane oxidation and ammonia synthesis).

After a year as a temporary Assistant Professor at the University of Poitiers, I joined Dr. Eric Borguet’s group in October 2016 as a postdoctoral researcher, with the goal of characterizing the adsorption properties of UiO MOF materials via UHV-TPD followed by mass spectrometry and IR spectroscopy. Their catalytic properties were also evaluated, as were those of plasmonic nanomaterials based on noble and non-noble metals.

In September 2018, I took up my permanent position as Assistant Professor at Centrale Lille (ENSCL), conducting my research in the Catalysis and Solid-State Chemistry Unit (UCCS, heterogeneous catalysis focus) . Initially part of the ReMCat research group (Remediation and Catalytic Materials), I joined the new ModSpeC team (Modelisation and Spectroscopies for Catalysis) in 2025, which I currently co-lead. 

My research focuses on understanding the reaction mechanisms in heterogeneous catalysis using an isotope exchange method followed by time-resolved IR spectroscopy (SSITKA-IR) under steady-state operando conditions. This powerful tool allows us to evaluate the nature and role of species adsorbed on the catalyst surface during the reaction, with the ultimate goal of developing more efficient and selective materials.
