Présentation

Nicolas Espitia is a  CNRS Researcher with the Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal et Automatique de Lille, Lille, France.

He  received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering and the second B.S. degree in mathematics from the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, Bogota, Colombia, in 2011 and 2012, respectively, the M.S. degree in systems, control, and information technology from Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in control systems from the GIPSA-Lab, Grenoble University, Grenoble, in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with Inria Lille Nord-Europe. 

 He serves as Associate Editor for European Journal of Control,  Systems & Control Letters and Automatica. His research focuses on two main areas: i) Sampled-data and event-triggered control of complex systems modeled by Distributed Parameter Systems (namely, Partial Differential Equations, and Time-Delay Systems), with applications in traffic flow and multi-agent systems; ii) Prescribed-time convergence for Distributed Parameter Systems, aiming to enhance stability
and performance.
