Amina Tandjaoui

Assistant Professor in Materials Sciences

LAMCUBE

Bureau : S265

Présentation

Amina Tandjaoui obtained her PhD in Materials Science in 2013 at the IM2NP Laboratory in Marseille. Her area of expertise is the processing of metallic materials through solidification techniques.

After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the SIMAP Laboratory in Grenoble, where she worked on eutectic ceramics for aeronautical applications, she joined Centrale Lille and the LAMCUBE laboratory (formerly LML) as an Associate Professor.

Her research focuses on the relationship between metallic alloy solidification process parameters and the resulting mechanical properties. These alloys are intended for transportation applications. She has worked on aluminum alloys for the automotive industry as well as steels used for railway axles.

In recent years, her research has increasingly focused on the use of recycled alloys, particularly non-ferrous alloys such as cast aluminum alloys and copper alloys intended for electrical component applications.
